The Landscape Committee manages the maintenance of our entrances, using volunteers and local contractors as needed. The update of the landscape plants on both the Rosemeade and Old Denton entrances were completed last year. Currently, the committee is manages the routine maintenance of our entrances and coordinates seasonal displays of flags and Christmas decorations
March Maher is the chairman of the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Committee. This group is involved in welcoming new residents, coordination of our partnership with the Denton County Master Gardeners Association (DCMGA) to assist residents with landscape ideas and improvements, and scheduling work projects to assist our neighbors in practical ways. DCMGA and the Stone Creek Landscape committee are completing plans for a makeover of our four entrance landscape beds that will be more drought tolerant and perennial.
James McCollister is both Vice President and Chairman of the Outreach Committee. This group assists the Treasurer in collection of member dues, and encouraging more participation for new homeowners in Stone Creek Estates.
Stone Creek Neighbors plans social activities in the Spring and Fall that allow us to get get to know others in our neighborhood. We are always looking for for volunteers to help with these activities.
